Learning Objective 2 – Explain how to troubleshoot and repair sewage and stormwater removal systems.

• Explain how to troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Explain how to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Explain how to replace pumps.

Performance Tasks

Performance Task 1 (Learning Objective 1) – Using a detailed drawing provided by the instructor, identify system components.

Performance Task 2 (Learning Objective 1) – Install a sump pump.

Performance Task 3 (Learning Objective 1) – Install and adjust sensors, switches, and alarms in sewage and sump pumps.

Performance Task 4  (Learning Objective 2) • Troubleshoot sewage and sump pumps.
