Explain the importance of safety in the roofing industry, and describe the obligations of the contractor, subcontractors, and yourself to ensure a safe work environment.

• Describe the OSHA 10 program.
• Explain hazard recognition and your role in it.
• Identify hazards that roofers encounter.

Understand the apprenticeship/training process for roofers.

• Describe modern apprenticeship training.
