  • Describe how moisture content affects soil compaction.
  • Explain why soil is compacted in lifts.
  • Describe how soil compaction is tested.

Learning Objective 4 – Explain surface water, groundwater, and rock mitigation as related to concrete.

  • Describe how surface water and groundwater are mitigated.
  • Describe how rock is mitigated.

Performance Tasks
