Introduction to Construction Math


The Course will start on November 1, 2020.

The course is Instructor Lead, but self paced by Tradesman. You have 6 months from the time you start the course to finish and earn you Completion Certificate.

National NCCER Certification (TESTING) is available but at additional cost. Not Required.

The Course reviews basic mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying, Defines whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and explains their application to the construction trades. Explains how to use and read various length measurements tools, including standard and metric rulers and tape measures, and the architects and engineer’s scales. Explains decimal-fraction conversions and the metric system, using practical examples. Also reviews basic geometry as applied to common shapes and forms.
